Fundraising

Unlike some charity event organisers, The X Foundation subtracts no commission or entry charge from the sponsorship money raised by its participants. Furthermore, The X Foundation distributes any operating profits amongst its preferred charities at the end of its financial year. Wherever possible, all sponsorship money raised by our participants goes directly to our preferred charities via Justgiving or Virgin Money Giving.

Here are details of our fundraising efforts so far:

Bollyhoo (Feb-11) raised over £11,000 for Calcutta Rescue

The Great Drag Race (Jun-10) raised over £25,000 for Prostate Cancer Research Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Support Federation

For Whom The Bell Tolls (Dec-09) raised over £12,000 for The Shooting Star Children's Hospice and Greenwich & Bexley Cottage Hospice

The Filthy Fundraiser (Oct-09) raised over £7000 for Focus12

Stand Up And Be Counted (Sep-09) raised over £4500 for Anti-Slavery International

Bedraggled (Apr-09) raised over £4000 for Prostate Cancer Research Foundation

For Whom The Bell Tolls (Dec-08) raised over £10,000 for Action For Children, Citizenship Foundation, Head & Neck Cancer Research Trust, Household Cavalry Central Charitable Fund, National Autistic Society, Norwood Ravenswood, The Brainwave Centre, The Stroke Association, and The UK Stem Cell Foundation
