Get Involved

We are always looking for volunteers to join our dynamic team. If you care about the big issues, and would like to make a contribution to a worthwhile cause in a non-financial way, please consider getting involved. We would especially like to hear from anyone with innovative fundraising ideas. Here are some of the ways you can help:

Internships

The X Foundation offers part-time and full-time internship, usually 3-4 months (minimum 2 days per week). Interns work across our projects and gain valuable experience of event programming and management, media relations,and marketing. Our internships offer a rare chance to gain a wide range of work experience within a dynamic, creative environment, whilst making a real contribution to an innovative young company that raises much-needed funds for vital charity projects. We take care to balance out our hard work with plenty of fun. If you'd like to know more, then we'd love to hear from you. Please email us a CV and covering letter explaining which aspects of our work interest you.

Spread the word

One of the best ways to support The X Foundation is to talk to everyone you know about our work. Please join our mailing list and our Facebook group, and forward details of our projects on to your friends, family, and colleagues. You can also now follow us on Twitter.

Fundraising

There are many ways you can help raise funds with The X Foundation, from taking part in a sponsored sporting contest, to promoting a one-off charity event. If you would like to roll up your sleeves and get involved in a project, please get in touch. We are always looking for people who would like to train to become boxers, drag queens, stand-up comedians, and burlesque artistes to take part in one of our celebrated charity shows.

In-kind donations

Do you or your organisation have a skill, service or product that could help The X Foundation? If you are a designer, photographer, editor, accountant, writer, musician, online advertising specialist, or other skilled professional, then you might be able to offer us some vital help with one of our projects. Please get in touch to find out if we can work together.

We can always use an extra pair of hands on deck. If you are interested in working or volunteering for The X Foundation, please get in touch.

Donations

The X Foundation prefers not to take donations directly. Please click here to read more about how we operate. If you would like to give money to a worthy cause, please consider giving directly to one of the excellent charities we support, who will then be able to claim Gift Aid on the sum.
